Our client, a provider of solutions for businesses and government markets, has a job opportunity available in their Toronto office. A global leader in their field, they have received multiple awards for their innovative technologies, as well as continually ranking as one of Canada’s top employers and workplaces for their passionate team of associates.



We are seeking an HR Business Partner for a contract position who will be responsible for day-to-day implementation and action planning of all HR activities.



The individual will support managers with performance management, workplace planning and recruitment, and ensure collective agreements are being managed properly and assist with grievances.



This role will involve self-managing projects and may involve with the input of or execution of strategic programs. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be able to build credibility with the business and be seen as a trusted advisor.



We want to hear from you if you have the following:



5-7 years of HR Generalist experience

University degree, working towards CHRP

Experience in a highly corporate unionized environment, and previous experience with collective bargaining, grievances, arbitration, and industrial relations

Previous experience operating in a business partner model

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Strong problem solving, influencing and coaching abilities
