Adobe Flash Action Script Developer (Junior)


The Flash Action Script Developer will work within the technical team to develop Flash based web applications, build interactive interfaces, help define standards and ensure high quality, error-free work. This is not a design position; background must be primarily in programming, but still have a good understanding of design.

Qualifications & skills:

- Expert-level experience in developing/debuggin g Action Script 2.0/3.0

- Strong attention to details, ability to QA Flash based web sites and applications properly

- Deep understanding of UI programming

- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming within Flash using AS 2.0 & 3.0

- Ability to create advanced code based animations and interaction

- Experience integrating Flash with dynamic data (XML, PHP/MySQL, ASP/SQL) and JavaScript

- Experience with audio and video

- Solid experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus

- Must show examples of Flash development and be prepared to talk in-depth about your programming techniques

- 2 years Flash development required

- Must be a good technical troubleshooter and always willing to learn/experiment with new development techniques

- BS in Computer Science or related major a plus

- Experience working with other Flash developers on the same project

- Web development background is a plus
