Job description

First of all the technical manager should have two main responsibilities towards the Customers as he & his team long contact from the date customer approved our system and also towards the management as his inputs and reports are so valuable to analyze technical department performance ,

Towards the Customers
1- Schedule & Execute the corrective & preventive maintenance programs
2- Train & Manage maintenance Engineers and technicians into efficient troubleshooting and timely repairs
3- Monitor the service quality & performance into the field to ensure the customer satisfaction which proved monthly by customer satisfaction audits
4- Try to differentiate between customer wants & demands that lead the customer gain what he actually need profitably
5- The technical manager to report on customer problems & its solutions on weekly bases to be recovered efficient therefore we can analyze to maintain the customer complain in its lowest level
6- Put predefined very strict list of actions to be taken towards the New customers to make sure the customer has got the idea behind the concept to overcome any unstable times between the previous & Our system
7- Try with the help of Marketing Manager to search for new ideas and to execute new recipes that make the customers always so impressed with our system
8- Make Scheduled checks of installations & visits to customers
Towards the Management
1- Giving for both the Management & The Sales Team the available machines in the stores , the status of the machines, repair progress from week to week
2- To report monthly / quarterly the required spare parts from the supplier & from the local market putting into consideration a certain budget approved from the management for all repairs activity
3- To evaluate the performance of the maintenance engineers and technicians towards the equipment & the customers through a close observation with regular Visits specially the new customers
4- Make sure the technical team has doing a good administrative work for example complete forms ( Maintenance , installation ,withdrawal& spare parts delivery )& task reporting
5- The technical manger should report to the management for any needs budget or facilities to be ready in the right times (transportation , machine shipment ,spare parts ,trip allowances, products)
6- Cost control for all service & repair activity
Reports List
The technical manger will be reported to the division manger who will by default forward it to the managing directors for the following:
A. Engineers & technical evaluation sheet Monthly
B. Machines transactions during the month (installations withdrawals
, replacements) Monthly
C. Available machines into the stock Updated/weekly
D. Spare parts needed (Local or imported ) Monthly /Quarterly
E. Customer satisfaction report Monthly
F. Customer Service visit Report Monthly
G. Customer problems & its status Weekly
H. Installed machines with locations & serials into the filed Monthly
I. Technical Department budget & expenses 6 Months
J. Machine installations forecast & schedule Updated/weekly
