Senior Design Engineers - Communication:
- Data Network Design Engineer
Cisco Certified, Microsoft Certified. With minimum 4 - 9 years experience in the design of ATM and Ethernet (LAN / WAN).
Data Engineer responsible for data network design and documentation. Responsibilities include site visits, drawing search, LAN/WAN design and integration, existing network expansion and documentation
- Senior OSP (Outside Plant Network) Design Engineer:
Senior OSP Design Engineer involved in cabling copper and fiber design and distribution, conduit system, splicing technology, encasement and protection, site survey and documentation
Minimum 4 - 9 years of experience in performing engineering studies, planning and design of Telecom, Outside Plant Network for Fiber Optics and Copper cable in the Oil and Gas sector. Conduct engineering survey and study of existing and proposed outside plant facilities. Prepare outside plant network design of Telecommunication projects including processing of land use permits and material take-offs, survey sites and coordinates with involved departments. Coordinate with the client regarding provision of telephone facilities on existing and proposed structures. Preparation of Exchange Demand Forecast, Fundamentals Plans for Primary Cable and Manholes and Conduit Network, prepare detailed engineering design for primary and secondary cable distribution, fiber loop network for remote switching unit and Central office interconnection, and manhole and conduit job. Prepare bill of materials and cost estimates of the outside plant project.
Establish the cabinet boundaries of the study area using standards sizes of cabinet and primary to secondary ratio. Develop the fundamentals plans for cables and manholes and conduit route. Carry out detail design of the outside plant network. Prepare cost estimates and bill of materials.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standard is a must and GTE and BICSI standard is also desired.
Shall be responsible for producing OSP CADD/engineering details and documentation.
