VBA & Excel Software developer

Responsibilities:

This Position will be supporting our development and marketing departments by creating Excel Based tools, formulas and charts. The successful Candidate will work closely with key stakeholders in to provide analysis, documentation, and reports according to Specifications agreed upon by all parties.

Duties:

• Interact with consultants in other offices on a regular basis to understand automation needs.
• Develop custom programs for data cleaning, editing and processing that will be useful on a regular basis to a wider set of consultants and will automate repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to clearly Document all changes on a monthly basis and provide an updated Master Document to Key Stakeholders.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Math, economics or statistics degree highly recommended.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic programming and creating macros in Excel
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, ASP and .Net
• JavaScript desirable.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and programming is desirable.
• Excellent Excel Skills: (development/ troubleshooting) , including VBA, use of ranges and XML import and export, data analysis and business modeling
• Very strong at data mining and manipulation using MS Excel/MS Access and creating client ready reports in MS PowerPoint (knowledge of Excel such as pivot tables, lookups, text functions, filters, etc.)

· Detail oriented, thorough, willing to learn and to advance.

· Excellent Communication Skills.

· Excellent at analyzing figures, recognizing trends & making recommendations based on data and analysis.

· Motivated by numbers and analysis that will make a significant impact on a business's web strategy.
