Job Description
1. Prepare Business Plan for department and present it to DGM for approval. 2. Reviews operational and financial data to determine whether the service department is meeting budget goals. 3. Monitors financial expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget. 4. Plans, initiates and promotes service marketing events. 5. Ensures that the Service Dept. achieves budget objectives by continually examining accounts, operating controls, and composite figures. 6. Receive and answer customer questions regarding technical problems with their heavy equipment, warranties, services and repairs in a manner that is easily understood. 7. Calms dissatisfied customers, resolves complaints with sensitivity, and involves others when needed. 8. Analyses the reasons for dissatisfaction and initiates the necessary procedures to eliminate the problem from recurring with other customers. 9. Conducts proactive discussion with customers to identify and prevent potential problems. 10. Maintains good relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations. 11. Monitors workflow in the retail facility and minimizes disruptions by developing the backup abilities of the team to compensate for illnesses, holidays. 12. Communicates work priorities to ensure that the most urgent tasks are handled first. 13. Ensures adequate maintenance of tools, equipment’s and other materials in the Service Dept. Job Specification
1. Aged 35-45 2. High degree of fluency in written & spoken English; Arabic desirable but not necessary 3. Can manage and with experience in running large Commercial Vehicle or Heavy Plant workshop 4. Technical background, preferably in Mechanical Engineering 5. Knowledge of the industry, its manufacturers and its customers, and their requirements 6. Proven Management experience of financial issues such as budgeting, costing, forecasting etc 7. Knowledgeable in the man management techniques required to organise and manage a multi lingual, multi discipline and multi skilled team 8. Knowledgeable in the service and maintenance requirements of our franchisees. 9. With knowledge of appraisals and staff development techniques 10. Excellent communicator to Customers, staff and with representatives of the franchises
