• To organize all departmental activities to provide operations that fully satisfy customer expectations and enhance principal relations.
• To manage the Division’s resources (people and facilities) such that they keep pace with market growth and service quality keeps pace with customer expectations.
• To control resources and assets at a level that is appropriate for achieving the profit targets.
• To focus on expanding the sales of B2B services to all sectors of the market.
• To maximize departmental productivity through the effective design and implementation of procedures, work processes and individual performance reviews.
• To manage the definition, preparation and communication of plans, budgets, forecasts, management reports.
• To regularly review the sales, profit margins and operating costs against budget and last year, and take corrective action where needed to maximize performance.
• To actively manage the relations with all principals.
• To regularly visit key and potential customers.
• To review and authorize stock orders, and monitor and control the ongoing stock levels.
• To review and authorize tender bids to ensure financial and legal terms are optimized for the group’s benefit.
• To ensure that in-house IT opportunities are rigorously pursued, and that systems are comprehensively utilized by the Division to improve efficiency and customer service.
• To research regional and global market developments and identify future opportunities for the local market.
• To create an environment where all departments and staff develop and excel.
• To provide personal coaching and mentoring where appropriate so as to ensure the full productivity and development potential of all team members.
• To enhance the reputation of the Group at every opportunity when interacting with others. Qualifications • Aged 35-45 • Broad Technology background - server & client hardware, Microsoft / niche software, networks
• Proven track record of successful Sales & Marketing management in Information Systems / Technology projects and product distribution
• Good knowledge of the industry, its manufacturers and customers, its processes and requirements
• Some previous experience of working in a corporate IT Support function, and managing IT projects, would be desirable
• A team leader and player, with excellent people skills
• Proven financial management skills in budgeting, pricing, forecasting, analyzing etc
• Good negotiation skills for dealings with suppliers, partners and customers
• High degree of fluency in written & spoken English; Arabic desirable but not necessary
• Could suit a high-potential Manager, with intellect / experience / ambition, currently occupying a “Number 2“ position, looking to manage and grow their own business division within a Group environment.
Package:
