Position Title: Course Promoter
Reporting to: Administration Manager

Primary Objective To meet and exceed targeted student enrollments
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Recruitment of learners onto courses and workshops
• Liaising with organizations and people who will benefit from training
• Actively marketing Course through participation in relevant
activities and events
• Contributing to any organizational improvement opportunities
• Contributing to ongoing improvement strategies for both the
marketing team and the organization, in line with organization
policies and procedures
Key tasks
1. To ensure learner enrollments and the number of courses run meet or
exceed targets
This may be achieved by, but is not limited to:
• Ensuring promotional material is current and appropriate for target
audience
• Generating leads and following up prospects through telephone
marketing, email and face-to-face meetings
• Using agreed processes to record and follow up all potential leads
and inquiries within agreed time frames
• Building and maintaining relationships through personal contact with
learners, their managers and decision-makers
• The negotiation of loyalty agreements with identified clients
• Liaising with the Enrollments Coordinator and the Finance Manager to
ensure student enrollments are as streamlined as possible for the client
• The promotion of Company training programs is carried out within the
agreed budget
• Providing a monthly report to the Administration Manager, outlining
key outcomes and activities
2. Working with the marketing team and other parts of Company as
appropriate to actively market and promote the organization.
This may be achieved by, but is not limited to:
• Promotion of Courses at relevant events
• Ensuring course promotion material promotes Company in a
professional manner
• Identifying possible hosted workshop or guest presentation
opportunities and feeding this information back to the appropriate people
• Assisting with other marketing or promotional activities as identified
• Identifying and acting on opportunities for raising awareness of the
organization
3. To demonstrate teamwork and interpersonal skills are demonstrated
in line with the organization

• Personally maintaining a professional appearance at all times
• Ensuring attendance and punctuality is maintained within
organization expectations
• Ensuring all duties are performed in a friendly, co-operative and
professional manner

• Problem solving and handling conflict, efficiency and effectively,
in consultation with the Administration Manager or CEO as appropriate
Key Outcomes
1. Monthly report submitted on time to the Administration Manager
2. Company clients and prospect details are kept up to date in the
appropriate database at all times
3. New course promotional opportunities are identified and acted upon
4. The organization is well recognized and awareness is maintained in
the community
5. Company targets for training programs are met
6. Internal and External communication is professional at all times
7. Constructive contribution is made to the development of the
organization through innovation, commitment and achievements
8. Course promotion activities are carried out within the agreed budget
These will be measured by:
1. Agreed course participant targets are met
2. Agreed course number targets are met
3. The number of student complaints about enrollment process is kept
to a minimum
4. The course promotion budget is met
Required Attributes
• Business graduate (MBA Holder or enrolled is preferred)
• Good command of English language
• Good relationship building skills
• Able to relate to people at all levels, and from all backgrounds
• Confident phone manner
• Good administration and computer skills is a must
• Organized and able to create and use good systems
• Some creativity
• Team Player, but also able to work independently
• Uses initiative
Experience
• 2 – 3 years as a trainer.
