Desktop/Web Applications Developer (PHP/MySQL Technologies)

Our Davenport client is seeking an additional .NET developer. The qualified candidate will work within a team atmosphere that includes five developers who all report to the Director of Technology.

Desktop/Web Application developer


We are looking for people who posses:

MySQL Database experience
PHP 4 / PHP 5 Experience
User Interface Design Experience
Backend Interface design
Skill at building highly reusable code following proper programming theory and best practices


Skills

Successful candidates must have a strong background in object oriented programming theory and large scale applications.


Preferred experience in:

Bonus:

* Experience using or developing coding frameworks
* Familiarity with Mambo/Joomal, Drupal, WordPress, osCommerce, phpBB and other open source applications.
* ASP or .NET experience
* LINUX server admin experience
* DHTML & graphics skills experience
* Advanced JavaScript and Ajax experience
* Flash / AS 2.0 development experience
* IT consultancy / ad agency experience
* Understanding of web best practices

Compensation

This is a part time / Freelance salaried position. Salary will be based on experience. Benefits include transportation allowances, houre ratio, paid vacation days and holidays.


A Specification will be available shortly, this will be an ongoing job which will be more than 6 months.
