| Reports To Lead Process Engineer Position description – Purpose - To ensure that the operations related requirements are adopted in Front End Engineering Design.
- To manage all the Operations activities and deliverables for specific projects and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.
Position description – (Roles &) Accountabilities - Prepare Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) catalogue for operations related activities
- Maintain and monitor activities progress against plan.
- Prepare operations deliverables (including OR&A requirements)
- Participate in HAZOP’s.
- Assess project impact on future operations e.g. manpower, temporary manpower during commissioning, budget impact. Provide Operations input during trade-off decisions between CAPEX and OPEX in the design stage.

- Project size range from 100 million US$ to +1 billion US$ in Capex.
Position description - Special Challenges - Maintaining a good relationship with the client is critical to the success of the (design) project and often requires visit to the site and/or client office.
- Be a team player where recognition of team performance as a whole is a greater priority than projecting individual contribution.
- Demonstrate repeatability and constant improvement in projects across a broad range of geographic, technical and cultural differences. Develop / share best practices, work processes, system and tools, based on experience gained in a portfolio of independent projects.
- Be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities.
- Assuring that work and project promises are successfully delivered and appropriate reviews have been conducted.
- Establish/adopt new technology
Experience and Qualifications required - HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years experience in the Process Industry (preferably oil & gas) in either design, projects or construction, and a sound knowledge of E&P Operations, installations, equipment, production processes, procedures and practices.
