| Duties and Responsibil it ies: - Purchase the highest qu ali ty merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
- Prepare purchase orders, solic it bid proposals and review requis it ions for goods and services.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, qu ali ty, selection, service, support, availabil it y, reliabil it y, production and distribution capabil it ies, and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and info rmation to determine reasonable prices.
- Mon it or and follow applicable laws and regulations.
- Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts w it h suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
- Mon it or shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
- Confer w it h staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.

| Qu ali fications & Skills - Good knowledge of all purchasing procedures.
- At least 2 years of experience
- Excellent correspondence skills and enjoy high computer l it eracy.
- Abil it y to work in a Team
- Good communication skills
