Title : Programmer Analyst Sr.

Location : NYC

Duration : 6 months

Max rate : $50/hr.

Responsibilities:

v Quickly understand portfolio systems, calculations and business requirements.

v Participating in analysis, design and development of new functionality in portfolio systems, calculations and reporting.

v Develop technical solutions, implement, test and deploy the solutions working independently and with other developers. Create required technical documentation.

v Ability to work directly with all levels of users.

v Meet project timeline deliverables, occasionally working overtime and weekends as needed.

v Ability to work on multiple sub-projects.

Required Educational Background and Technical skills:

v Seven plus years overall information technology experience. Academic background in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

v Strong background in writing system utilities using Perl and Unix shell. Strong background in SCM (software configuration management), CVS, software build management, software packaging, defect tracking. Knowledge of make.
RCS (revision control system), SVN (subversion) , buildforge, and opsware background/knowledg e a plus.
