	Position	:	Quantity Surveyor
	Work Location	:	Muscat, Oman
	Job Duration	:	Long Time (Direct Hire)

Qualification & Experience: Graduation in Engineering To prepare monthly valuations for the works done on the site. To certify the final measurements with the client for final quantity take-off from the As-Built drawings. Attend meeting with the client and consultant regarding the progress of the measurements and also provide various suggestions and alternatives to complete the measurements where difficulties are ascertained. Liaise with Management, Client, Contractor and Subcontractors on a daily basis and follow through in connection with administration requirements regarding contractual / commercial matters and instructions. Review and recommendation of Engineering Services sub-contractor’s Claim for extension of time, loss and expense. To provide distribute various works for the measurements within the team. Assist in the preparation of Site Instructions and Variation Orders on the Design & Build contract and in agreeing costs with Contractor and in preparing / responding to contractual correspondence for submission to Contractor. Assist in the preparation of Change Notice Requests on the Service contract and in agreeing costs with the Client and in preparing / responding to contractual correspondence for submission to the Client. Liaise with Client / Contractor / Subcontractors on queried/dispute invoices. Responsible for quantity take-off & work done at site. Involved in giving details for comparing specification of the project & the material required. Keeping interaction with the consultant & client in case of the variation & calculating the quantities required for the same. Calculating the quantities as per the actual from drawings & as per the B.O.Q. Preparing the Sub-contractors bills & measurement of the work as per the actual in CCS Candy system.
