A Multinational Canadian company established in 1911 requires an
Assistant Project Manager (Planner & scheduler)
Company Activity: Engineering/ Construction.
Location: Abu Dhabi , UAE.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in a PCM (project control management) lead position in major construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of Primavera P3 planning software.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the master project schedule and detailed schedules.
  • Prepare the package dictionaries (contracts and purchase orders) and ensure follow-up of modifications to the packaging strategy.
  • Identify all deviations from the baseline as well as implement corrective actions.
  • Perform detail follow-up on the progress of engineering and construction based on the earned value methodology.
  • Manage the integration of planning and project control efforts for EPC efforts on the project.
  • Scope Management and be involved in the negotiation of scope changes with the client.
  • Work with lead planner and cot control supervision to ensure that control systems are adequate and are meeting reporting requirements.
  • Implement the tracking and monitoring systems for progress reporting on both physical and invoicing progress for engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Interface with project manager for problem solving issues or best solutions in terms of problems relating to schedule.
  • Interface with corporate teams for project follow-ups and repoting.
