A well known touristic company located at 6th of October is seeking for Personal Assistant to the Chairman, having the following job description:

Summary :

Performs secretarial work of a complex nature for an elected official or department head; general office functions; performs related work as required. May perform skilled legal clerical work of average difficulty. Work is performed under the general supervision of the elected official or department head. May supervise a Clerk, Clerk-Typist, or temporary employee.

Responsibility & Duties :

1. Takes and transcribes dictation.

2. Composes and prepares routine correspondence for signature.

3. Independently prepares recurring reports for signature.

4. Answers the phone, provides information and receives information concerning matters related to the employing department.

5. Maintains a calendar for the supervisor and assures that complete information is available for all matters.

6. Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records.

7. Arranges for meetings and conferences.

8. Maintains control files of matters in progress and follows up to ensure that court-ordered actions are completed.

9. Coordinates some office functions with other county departments.

Additional responsiblites :

1. May prepare legal documents, including warrants, complaints, summons, indictments, and papers for filing and serving.

May assign work to subordinate clerical employees.

2. May attend meetings and conferences to furnish information and take notes.

3. May receive and resolve or refer citizen complaints.

4. May take part in the training and/or orientation of new employees.

5. May give assistance and advice to subordinate employees.

6. Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Knwoledge, Skills , and Abilites :

· Excellent knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation; legal office practices, procedures, and documents.

· Thorough knowledge of operating practices of county government.

· Ability to establish, maintain, and prepare case records and reports; ability to deal effectively with the public and governmental officials at all levels.

· Sufficient skill in typing to complete 40 words per minute accurately.

· Menimum 5 years of experience
