JOB TITLE

IT Security Intrusion Analyst

PURPOSE
To be ahead of threats for any malicious or damaging activities.

DUTIES / TASKS
1) Monitoring different systems logs, security events, correlating between different events, and producing daily and weekly reports.
2) Assessing company systems and networks for any vulnerability or deviation from company’s policies and best practices.
3) Participating in incident analysis, response, and reporting.
4) Participating in Supporting and Maintaining IT Security infrastructure systems.

NEEDED BACKGROUND DESCRIBING THE JOB

1) Bachelor degree of Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
2) Three to four years of experience in IT Security.
3) MCSE (Mandatory), CEH or GSEC Course (certificate is optional).
4) Network background or CCNA certification.
5) Knowledge for IT Security systems like IPS, IDS, Ant viruses, Web Content Filtering systems.
6) Linux operating systems background preferred.
