Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
2. 5+ years Oracle Database Administrator experience and
Oracle Applications administration.
3. 3+ years Technical Support Experience
4. Good background of programming including:
o UNIX Administration experience
o Strong experience supporting mission critical relational
databases
o Considerable experience and knowledge of Oracle 10g
and "best practices"
o troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
o Must have excellent learning abilities and have the ability
to use various resources to research issue
o Skilled in scripting and automating repetitive
administrative tasks
o Good understanding of RAC, physical and logical standby, TAF
and other high availability Oracle technologies
o Experience in defining/analyzing ERDs, data models, and
physical database designs
o Proven experience with PL/SQL including writing and
optimizing code in PL/SQL
o Tuning and troubleshooting Oracle instances
o Installing Oracle on Windows/Linux/ UNIX
o Experience configuring and maintaining highly scalable
environments
o Knowledge in Oracle Backup/Recovery Methodologies and
Strategies
Independent position requires excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate with upper level management on client site
Handling periods of high stress
Ability to multi-task
Team player
Certification in Oracle 10g
