Responsibilities:ý
Responsible for Java/J2EE/EE5 application development supporting
business objectives ýwhile providing mid-level expertise in software
development lifecycle phases from concept ýand design to testing. ý
Analyses, designs and builds Web/internet applications, including,
modeling techniques, and ýobject-oriented design, ý
Work on new and existing applications.ý
Performs hands-on coding and assists in architecting web content
solutions.ý
Serve as liaison to internal customers, research groups and various
business support areas.ý
Qualifications:ý
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related
discipline is required or ýequivalent work experience and technical
training. ý
ý5 or more years of Java experience in software development,
maintenance and delivery with ýapplication server experience (e.g.
10g, Applications Server; Apache; J2EE Application ýServer) ý
Dealing with open source ready made frameworks.ý
Working with Java web application using STRUTS, JSF with any
extension frameworks, ýEJB or Hibernate or IBatis and AJAX.ý
Good knowledge in Design Patterns.ý
Good knowledge BI.(Business intelligence)ý
ý2 years technical work experience in a team environment as a
programmer.ý
Experience with Web architecture and Web design and development
tools and languages, ýe.g. JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, EJBs, SQL,
JavaScript, SOAP, XML, HTML, Struts, CVS
Solid written and verbal communication skills ý
Ability to document development including database design,
application design and ongoing ýdocumentation of changes and
modifications. ý
Rapid applications development or extreme programming is highly
desirable.ý
