Full-time Oracle developer

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for developing large-scale multi-tier Oracle/DotNet based applications. Develop database objects to support business needs. Working with team members to resolve functional issues and technical implementation considerations.

Position Qualifications:

• Oracle PL/SQL development experience is required.
• 3+ years of Oracle experience as an Oracle DBA/Developer
• Must possess a clear understanding of RDBMS fundamentals
• Experience in database design / data modeling.

·         Ability to convert business requirements into database functionality.

·         Able to work in team or independently on tasks. 

·         Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills: experience with packages, functions, triggers, etc…

·         Expert performance tuning of complex queries

·         Ability to perform production DBA tasks such as backups, configuration, etc…

·         Strong problem solving skills

• Good understanding of the Software Life Cycle.
• The qualified candidate must have the ability to work effectively as an individual or on a team.
• Strong interpersonal communication, technical design, technical writing skills and attention to detail are required.

Preferred skills:

·         Database application

 optimization / tuning skills a plus.

Client/Server or 3-tier application development experience also a plus 

• Development skills experience with VB.NET, JavaScript, ASP and HTML.
• Good knowledge of Visual Studio and .NET framework.
