Job Description: Seeking a skilled Software Engineer Responsible for developing/maintain ing Custom High Availability, Scalable and Secure Server software using Java 2 Standard Edition. Contributes in development of integration modules with host systems, using Web-Services, Stored-Procedures, SOAP/XML, etc...

Salary is above market range, relative to skills and experience

Job Qualifications:
1. Computer Engineering or Computer science graduate.
2. Excellent Object Oriented Design and Programming Skills
3. Strong command of Design Patterns.
4.Familiarity with ORM frameworks, e.g. Hibernate and Custom containers e.g. Spring Framework
5. Knowledge with JDK1.5 and NIO.
6. Knowledge of EJB and J2EE is an asset
7. Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus
8. Experience in Network and Database Applications is an asset, e.g. Sockets Programming, Web Services, RMI, SOAP messaging.
9. Familiarity with Open Source tools and standards is a plus, e.g. ANT, CVS, Cruise Control, etc ...
10. Knowledge of agile software development methodologies is an asset, e.g. XP & SCRUM
11. Knowledge of operating systems other than MS Windows is an asset
12. Self-motivated.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
14. Ability to work both independently and in teams.
15. Leadership skills
16. Ability to work under pressure.
17. Ability to work on medium/large size projects.
18. Willing to travel upon need
